Firewatching: Meet the author, Russ Thomas

27th February 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Russ Thomas is the Sheffield based author behind the gripping new crime novel ‘Firewatching’. Published by Simon and Schuster, this intelligent and pacy story is deeply embedded in Sheffield with a strong sense of place and local people. Soon crime fans will associate Sheffield with DS Adam Tyler in the same way we associate Edinburgh with Rebus.
‘Firewatching’ follows DS Tyler as he investigates a cold case: a body is found bricked into the walls of a house. From the state of the hands, it’s clear they were buried alive and tried to claw their way out before they died… Firewatching is set to be one of the major releases of 2020.
Russ will be interviewed by local author Susan Elliot Wright, author of The Flight of Cornelia Blackwood.
