SUMMARY:Flash Fiction Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Festival\, which was shortlisted in the Best Literary Festival category of the UK’s Saboteur Awards in 2019\, is for beginning and experienced writers who want to learn more about flash fiction – an exciting and continually emerging short-short form of prose\, growing in popularity around the world. Come and be inspired by leading flash fiction practitioners from the UK\, USA\, Ireland\, Italy and Germany and immerse yourself in writing\, reading and listening to flash fiction throughout the weekend. All sections of the community\, from all corners of the globe\, are welcome.\n£360 for the whole weekend including all workshops\, talks and evening of readings\, two lunches\, and one evening meal plus Friday & Saturday night budget accommodation at the venue.\n£280 for all festival events plus meals: accommodation not included.\n£250 for all festival events: neither meals nor accommodation included.\nTeas\, coffee and biscuits are free for all throughout the festival.\nWhats on?\nLike last year\,our programme director Jude Higgins has planned a huge variety of workshops\, talks\, discussions and readings on all aspects of flash fiction.\nOther Events:\nA Festival Long micro competition\nRaffle with great prizes\, charity to be decided\nTwo extra pre-festival workshops (Friday afternoon 19th June) with acclaimed flash fiction teachers and writers Kathy Fish from the USA and Nuala O’Connor from Ireland open for booking now\nApply for reduced full or half-cost places by February 29th 2020
