DESCRIPTION:For the second year running\, Corsham will enjoy StoryTown\, a celebration of story-telling in all its many forms. Corsham Town Council\, in collaboration with Paper Nations\, will be encouraging everyone\, whatever their age or ability\, to tell tales and share the enjoyment of a story well-told\, whether that’s speaking\, singing\, performing\, painting\, printing\, rhyming\, writing or reminiscing. \nStoryTown takes place in October\, with over 30 events scheduled. Most take place on and around the festival weekend from Friday 18-Sunday 20 October\, at various venues across the town\, but story-telling never stops and nor does StoryTown so there are events to be found through the month and beyond\, including schools writing competitions\, inter-generational story-telling sessions\, creative writing workshops\, poetry readings\, author’s talks\, book fairs\, children’s events\, family activities\, recording Your Corsham Stories on video and postcards\, theatre performances\, literary quotes in shop windows\, exhibitions\, film screenings and more. \nThe StoryTown programme will be available from mid-September.
