Writing Your Way to Becoming a Published Author

Our 8 part short story writing course, ‘Writing your way to becoming a published author’ will guide you through the stages of developing and writing your short story with the aim to publishing your story and becoming a published author. Over the 8 weeks our tutor and published author, Graham Sclater will help you to develop your story by exploring the skills needed to make your ideas come to life in the form of a short story and the processes that will work for you. Area’s Graham will be covering includes, story timeline mapping, what genres should you write in, character development, show don’t tell and writing dialogue and editing. Each session will take you towards the goal of completing your short story, which we plan to publish.
