Funding for Writing Projects

This two half-day course will look at what types of writing projects might attract public and private funding and how to make a good application. It will focus on funding from Arts Council England through their Lottery Project Grants scheme and their Developing Your Creative Practice scheme. The course will look at the qualities of a fundable project, making a case for funding, preparing a budget and how to complete key sections of applications forms. There will be some tasks to be completed between the two sessions of the course.
