The lead authors of The Writer’s Cycle will be our two key facilitators on the Dare to Write? Academy programme:

Lucy Sweetman (left) - Dare to Write? Academy Programme Leader

Lucy is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University and one of Paper Nations’ Creative Producers. She has spent more than twenty years working with disadvantaged young people in the UK, Europe and Australia.

Lucy writes at the fuzzy boundary between life and academic writing and spends her time thinking about how we teach writing and the identities and habits of writers in practice.

 
Bambo Soyinka (right) - Principal Investigator and Director of Paper Nations

Bambo is Professor of Story at Bath Spa University, director of the Research Centre for Transcultural Creativity and Education and is an experienced, award-winning producer. She is the creator of Dare to Write? and Paper Nations and has more than a decade’s experience in multi-platform storytelling and production. Bambo has initiated and directed projects across the UK and internationally.
